Highway closures for York Region this week (Jan. 23)

Avoid traffic jams before they happen: your weekly roundup of Ontario highway closures for new and ongoing construction in York Region, including Markham, Vaughan, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Aurora and King.

• Highway 400 southbound between King / Vaughan Townline Road and Kirby Road: one right lane closed until Jan. 29 at 5 a.m.
• Highway 427 southbound between Major Mackenzie Drive and Finch Avenue: one right lane closed until Jan. 27 at 5 a.m.

 

The above closures are scheduled by the Ministry of Transportation for the improvement, maintenance and repair of provincial highways, ramps and bridges.

The resulting disruptions may be intermittent or ongoing, and are subject to change due to weather, emergencies and other factors.
