There is some good news for art connoisseurs on a budget. The McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Vaughan is now offering free admission  every Tuesday  to its gallery starting Jan. 11 for four months until April 26.

Not only that but McMichael is going to offer complimentary Guided Group Tours to amplify the experience for organized groups.

This move was possible after a donation by Terry West and Mark Defend in the “hopes that it will increase public access to the McMichael while fostering a greater appreciation for the art of Canada,” the gallery said in a statement.

The McMichael Canadian Art Collection is located at 10365 Islington Ave., Kleinburg, north of Major Mackenzie Drive in Vaughan.

Individual visitors will be able to book a complimentary timed-entry admission ticket at mcmichael.com.

As of Dec. 21, organized groups can inquire on mcmichael.com/CAdays to book free timed-entry admission tickets and to request a complimentary McMichael Community Access Days Guided Group Tour.
