East Gwillimbury goes to two bag garbage limit in 2022

Five collection tags can be purchased for $10 at the town Civic Centre for extra bags

The new year means new garbage pick-up rules in East Gwillimbury. The town will return to its two bag/item garbage collection limit Jan. 18.

Residents can place up to two bags/items out for collection on their scheduled collection day. Any additional waste over the two bag/item limit will require a collection tag.

East Gwillimbury had been operating with a five bag limit.

Five collection tags can be purchased for $10 at Customer Service located inside of the Civic Centre.
