The city of Vaughan is temporarily closing all fitness centers and swimming pools and some of its libraries due to lack of pandemic-related staff.
The city made the announcement in a press release issued Tuesday morning.
He says all his fitness centers and swimming pools will be closed from Thursday and recreational programs at community centers will also be canceled.

Meanwhile, Vaughan Public Libraries will also close community branches as of Thursday, though its three source libraries -- Bathurst Clark, Civic Center and Pierre Berton -- will remain open for the time being.
Admission will also continue to be offered at closed branches from 1pm to 5pm daily.
