City to keep vaccinating during holidays, adds 6,600 appointments

The city will keep putting COVID-19 vaccines into arms during the holidays.
Clinics will be open from Christmas day through to Dec. 27 and 6,632 more shots are being added to the provincial booking system for those dates.
“Team Toronto is working at wartime speed to help people get their third COVID-19 vaccine dose and to add new vaccine appointments,” said Toronto Mayor John Tory in a statement.
“Thank you to everyone on Team Toronto who are working through the holidays to make sure our progress on delivering booster doses continues.”
Open on Dec. 25 will be Mitchell Field Community Centre (11 a.m.-4 p.m.), 89 Church Ave; and the Thorncliffe Park Community Hub (8:15 a.m.-8 p.m.), 45 Overlea Blvd.
Open on Dec. 26 will be Cloverdale Mall, (11 a.m.-5 p.m.), 250 The East Mall; Scarborough Town Centre (11 a.m.-5 p.m.), 300 Borough Dr.; Mitchell Field Community Centre (11 a.m.-5 p.m), 89 Church Ave.; Woodbine Mall (11 a.m.-5 p.m.), 500 Rexdale Blvd.; and the Thorncliffe Park Community Hub (8:15 a.m.-8 p.m.), 45 Overlea Blvd.
Open on Dec. 27 will be Metro Toronto Convention Centre (2 p.m.- 8 p.m.),
