Will Hwy. 413 pave over our food system?

I live near Hwy. 27 in Vaughan and it gets busy. The recent addition of the 427 extension has eased traffic tremendously, yet there's still a push for the Hwy. 413 from the province, putting municipalities on edge.

Vaughan Coun. Marilyn Iafrate's outspoken nature in council meetings and social media gives me hope that politicians think about what's best for the community and not their developer friends. More roads won't solve traffic, just like having more food banks won't solve food insecurity. They re-route us from the actual problem.

We need to support environmental justice today for a secure food future instead of paving over it for a quick ride.
