Aurora will ring in the new year with daytime swimming and skating followed by family fun party at night

If you and your family are looking for a fun way to kick off the new year, head over to the Aurora Town Park on the evening of Dec. 31 for the town’s Family First Night celebrations.

All activities are free but donations to the Aurora Food Pantry are appreciated.

Before the New Year’s Eve party even begins, why not have some fun during the day with swimming and skating at the Stronach Aurora Recreation Complex?

Swim times are 11:15 a.m. to noon, 12:15 to 1 p.m., and 1:15 to 2 p.m.

Skating times are 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Registration is required for swimming and skating at e-PLAY at aurora.ca/en/town-services/eplay.aspx.

Then, say goodbye to 2021 and welcome 2022 with a night of music, fire dancing and magical lights at the Town Park from 6 to 9 p.m. NorthFIRE Circus and Dr. Draw bring you a night geared to all ages.
