Richmond Hill kicks off annual holiday donation drive

You can make a difference in someone's life and spread some cheer by donating to Richmond Hill's annual Holiday Donation Drive.

When: Dec. 1 -- 15, 2021

Where: Richmond Hill's Operations Centre, 1200 Elgin Mills Road East

Times: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. -- 3:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. -- 5 p.m.

Drop off your non-perishable food items, new toys (no stuffed animals, please), books, gift cards, toiletries and new clothing for children and teenagers.

Please note that this is curbside drop-off only with COVID-19 health and safety precautions in place. Please make sure to wear a mask and maintain a distance of six feet from others.

All food donations go directly to the Richmond Hill Food Bank, a local non-profit organization assisting those in need in the community.

The Salvation Army, Yellow Brick House, and York Hills Centre for Children, Youth and Families receive all toys, toiletries, clothing and other items collected.
