East Gwillimbury hosting Remembrance Day ceremony at the Civic Centre on Nov. 11

East Gwillimbury is hosting its annual Remembrance Day Ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 11 at 10:40 a.m.

The ceremony will take place in the front lawn of the Civic Centre, surrounding the cenotaph.

The public is welcome to attend the service and for those who can not, the service will be live streamed via the Town’s YouTube Channel.

Motorists travelling along Leslie Street are respectful of the event and pull over (if possible) at 11 a.m. to recognize the two minutes of silence.

The Mount Albert Albert Legion hosted a ceremony at Memorial Park in Mount Albert on Nov. 7.
