Pickleball and tennis courts coming to Stouffville Leisure Centre in 2022

Memorial Park is in a for a major change next year. The town awarded a $705,729 tender to Latitude 67 to construct 8 pickleball courts and two tennis courts at Memorial Park.
The construction is expected to begin in May of 2022 and be completed by August.
The scope of the work includes site preparation and removals rough grading, site drainage, asphalt court paving and chain link fencing.
The new courts will be located southwest of the Leisure Centre.
In 2018, the town approved an updated leisure and community services master plan. The master plan included a newly proposed concept plan for Memorial Park.
Latitude 67 is no stranger to doing work in Stouffville. They were the contractor that completed Coultice Park at Musselman's Lake in 2017.
Latitude 67 was also the contractor that won the contract for the tennis courts and track at the Stouffville Arena in 2014. Peeling paint at the track caused it to be completely refurbished by a different contractor in 2018.
