Must be Santa! Georgina Santa Claus parade hits Sutton streets

Here comes Santa Claus, right down Dalton Road.

The Georgina Kinsmen, with support from the town, will be hosting the annual Santa parade again this year.

This year’s parade will be held in Sutton, Dec. 4 from 5 to 7 p.m.

The jolly ol’ elf and his parade of floats will start in Jackson’s Point, travel along Dalton Road to High Street and end at the Sutton fairgrounds.

In 2019, the Keswick Santa parade moved from The Queensway to travelling along Woodbine Avenue. Due to ongoing road construction on the Queensway South, which is used as an emergency route during the parade along Woodbine Avenue, there will be no Keswick parade this year.

But the Kinsmen are confident the parade will return to Keswick streets in 2022.

Experience holiday magic at the town’s Festival of Lights, a drive-thru animated light show along the ROC parkway and Civic Centre grounds. The light show is set to music that can be enjoyed through your car radio.

The Festival of Lights runs Dec. 6 to Jan 1 from 5 to 11 p.m.
