Proof of vaccination required for in-person programs at Newmarket library

If you want to take part in programs onsite at the Newmarket Public Library, you must be fully vaccinated as of next week.

Effective Tuesday, Oct. 26, the library will require proof of vaccination for residents participating in in-person programs.

All residents eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine will be asked to show proof that they are fully vaccinated, along with government ID to verfiy their identity prior to participating in the programs.

If you need help accessing your proof of vaccination, can contact library staff for assistance at 905-953-5110.

The library continues to offer online programs for residents not attending in person.
