In an effort to boost vaccine rates and increase access to vaccines, York Region Public Health is hosting a series of walk-in, pop-up, school-based and community vaccination clinics.

Pop-up and community clinics are open for walk-ins for both first or second doses, as well as appointments.

Community clinics will offer both Moderna and Pfizer vaccines to anyone 12-years (born in 2009) and older. GO-VAXX clinics will offer Pfizer vaccines only.

Pop-up Clinics:
Sept. 28:

10 a.m. to 9 p.m -- GO-VAXX clinic at Upper Canada Mall, 17600 Yonge St., Newmarket.

Sept. 29:

11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. -- Royal Canadian Legion Branch 426, 707 Srigley St., Newmarket.

Sept. 30:

Noon to 3:30 p.m. -- GO-VAXX clinic at RioCan Colossus Centre, 7501 Weston Rd., Vaughan;

6 to 9:20 p.m. -- GO-VAXX clinic at Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, 3150 Hwy. 7, Vaughan.

Oct. 3:

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. -- GO-VAXX clinic at Markham Fair, 10801 McCowan Rd., Markham.

Oct. 5:

11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. -- Royal Canadian Legion Branch 382 -- 31 Princess St., Mount Albert, East Gwillimbury.

School-based clinics:
All school-based clinics are open from 1 to 4 p.m. for staff, students and families of the respective school only and open for walk-ins from 4 to 7 p.m.

Sept. 29:
