You can celebrate Ontario’s arts and culture scene with a full month of free events, activities and experiences indoors, outdoors and online during Ontario Culture Days.

Part of the nationwide Culture Days celebration, the festival takes place from Sept. 24 to Oct. 24. This year's theme is RE:IMAGINE, encouraging artists to imagine how arts and culture can help create a brighter post-COVID-19-pandemic world.

The month-long festival features a wide variety of in-person and online programming throughout Toronto and Ontario, showcasing the vibrancy of the city’s and province’s arts and culture communities.

The Creatives in Residence series spotlights the works of artists while inviting people into the creative process, encouraging participants to learn and create through activities from foraging walks to protest poster workshops. The series touches on themes of resilience, resourcefulness, community and connection.

In Toronto, ON Culture Days @ the Library, in partnership with the Toronto Public Library, brings programming to libraries in neighbourhoods throughout the city, with in-person and digital events and activities.

Special events this year include a conversation with Karen Pheasant-Neganigwane and Tanya Lukin Linklater, moderated by Clare Butcher, and Toronto in “Last Night” by Dave Dyment, both happening online.

Visit the Ontario Culture Days website for a full list of this year’s programming and events.
