WHAT’S GOING ON HERE? King-Vaughan Road closed from Dufferin to Keele from Aug. 3 to 20

The closure is required for the replacement of two large culverts under King-Vaughan Road

York Region will be closing King-Vaughan Road from Dufferin Street to Keele Street beginning Tuesday, Aug. 3. It will reopen on Friday, Aug. 20.

Here are the facts:

• Access will be maintained for local traffic.

• The closure is required for the replacement of two large culverts under King-Vaughan Road.

Work will take place Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. When night work is required, residents and business owners will be notified in advance.

• Signage will be in place to assist with navigation.

• Construction may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or delays related to COVID-19 Public Health guidelines.
