Markham public libraries to reopen in August

More than two weeks after entering Stage 3 of Ontario's reopening plan, Markham will open the door of public libraries on August 3.

Picking up in-branch holds will be allowed in Markham Village and Unionville library branches. There will also be extended library hours at Markham Village, Thornhill Village and Unionville library branches.

Angus Glen Library and Thornhill Community Centre Library will be reopening in September.

Outdoor programs require pre-booking and a COVID-19 screening before each visit. Drop-ins are not allowed. Visit markham.ca/SummerPrograms to find out more.

Indoor and instructional programming will ramp up for the fall.
