Construction of The Thornhill--at the intersection of Bathurst Street and Beverley Glen Boulevard in Thornhill--is well on its way. The condominium complex, designed by Kirkor Architects for The Daniels Corporation and Baif Developments, will bring four new buildings to this growing area of Vaughan, the tallest of them along Bathurst, stepping down in height as they get closer to the established low-rise neighbourhood to the west.
The complex's three-level underground garage, that is to span the whole footprint of the site, is progressing quickly. Currently, the P1 slab is in place on the site's east side, while the P2 slab is partially completed in the centre of the site, and the remaining P2 and P3 levels continue to take shape to the west.
As per our last update in July, the 25-storey eponymous first phase and 15-storey second phase, The Beverley, are both approaching street level following two tower crane installations, and will soon rise above grade along Bathurst Street.
Further to the west, the remaining two buildings of the complex--known as Boulevard at The Thornhill-- will rise 6 and 12 storeys, respectively. While The Thornhill will be home to 313 condominium units and The Beverley will house another 207, 257 units are being built in the two mid-rise Boulevard buildings.
