Now that Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital has opened as a full-service hospital for the community, the Mackenzie Health COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital will close to the public at the end of day Sunday, July 11, 2021. The closure of the clinic will allow Mackenzie Health to focus its efforts on providing hospital care to residents throughout York Region.

York Region Public Health is working closely with Mackenzie Health to provide a seamless transition as this clinic concludes operations.

Individuals who already have an appointment booked between Monday, July 12, 2021 and Saturday, July 31, 2021 will have their second dose appointments automatically rebooked to the vaccine clinic at Maple Community Centre. To the greatest extent possible, appointments will be rebooked for the same date and time with some exceptions. All residents impacted by the change will be notified by e-mail.

Individuals who have appointments booked in August and beyond and have not re-booked an earlier second dose appointment should please visit york.ca/covid19vaccine and rebook as new appointments are released. All individuals 12 years of age and older are now eligible to book an accelerated second dose.

It remains critically important for residents to be vaccinated. If you have not yet received a first dose vaccination, you are urged to book an appointment now.
