Here's what's open and closed on the Aug. 2 Civic Holiday:
OPEN
Some banks will be open
TD Canada Trust branches will be closed on Sunday, Aug. 1 and reopen Monday. CIBC will also be open on Monday, Aug. 2, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Services
GO Transit, Sunday schedule
YRT will be running on a Sunday service schedule for the civic holiday. (https://www.yrt.ca/en/index.aspx)

On the civic holiday, post offices will be closed, and there will be no collection or delivery of mail.
Retail
Most major malls, including Markville Mall, and Upper Canada Mall will be open.
Upper Canada Mall will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the civic holiday. Markville Mall will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Select LCBO stores and the Beer Store locations across the province will be open.
LCBO stores
On the civic holiday, select LCBO stores will be open under reduced hours. Customers can check the store locator feature for local store hours on lcbo.com or the mobile app.
Where permitted by local municipalities, some LCBO Convenience Outlets will open during regular hours of business on the civic holiday.
Beer store
On Monday, 89 select Beer Store locations across the province will be open for business 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Online ordering is available at more than 190 stores for in-store pick up. Most libraries as well as Canada Post Offices will be closed.
Most libraries are closed Monday, including Vaughan Public Libraries and Aurora Public Library. Richmond Hill Public Library will be closed both Sunday and Monday.
Canada Post Offices will be closed on the civic holiday. There will be no regular collection or delivery of mail on those days.
