Positive COVID-19 tests at grocery stores are dipping in York Region as case numbers drop across the province.

Only 4 stores reported positive tests in the past week.

In Thornhill, a Shoppers Drug Mart employee at the 8000 Bathurst St. location tested positive. The last day they worked was May 26.

Elsewhere in Vaughan, a Fortinos employee tested positive at the 8585 Hwy. 27 location. The last day they worked was May 27.

Two Longo’s employees at the 2810 Major Mackenzie Dr. location tested positive. The last days they worked were May 23 and 28.

A Longo’s employee at the 9200 Weston Rd. location also tested positive. The last day they worked was May 23.
