Power outage in Vaughan affecting 502 homes, businesses: Alectra Utilities

Alectra estimates power will be restored between noon and 2 p.m.

A power outage is currently affecting around 502 homes and businesses in Vaughan, according to Alectra Utilities.

On the morning of June 1, at around 10 a.m., the Hydro company tweeted that a power outage was affecting more than 800 homes and businesses in the area of Pine Valley Drive and Hwy. 7.

Alectra dispatched crews to restore power to the area, and estimated it will be fixed between noon and 2 p.m.

At 10:30 a.m., Alectra follow-up with a tweet stating that around 502 homes are affected by the power outage.

Yorkregion.com contacted Alectra Utilities for comment on what caused the power outage.
