A mass vaccination clinic scheduled for Canada’s Wonderland during the holiday weekend has been relocated for May 22 and 23.

The Region of York released a statement to notify residents with scheduled appointments that the clinic is being temporarily closed starting at 11 a.m. on May 22 due to the expectation of inclement weather.

Residents with appointments are advised they can still receive their vaccinations at the Maple Community Centre located at 10190 Keele Street in Vaughan.

The clinics in Maple will run from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The clinic is expected to reopen for scheduled appointments on May 24.

York Region is notifying residents of the change in vaccination location through the communication preference selected at the time of their booking -- email, text message or phone call.

The COVID-19 vaccination clinic located at Maple Community Centre is not a drive-thru location.

If you have mobility concerns and are unable to attend your appointment, please call Access York at 1-877-464-9675 to reschedule your appointment.
