Aurora Road resurfacing project set to start May 25

Roadway from Hwy. 404 to Kennedy to be impacted until July

Resurfacing for a stretch of Aurora Road in Whitchurch-Stouffville is scheduled to begin May 25.

The Region of York said a resurfacing procedure will impact the roadway from Hwy. 404 to Kennedy Road.

Aurora Road will remain open to traffic and access to residences and businesses will be maintained. However, some lane reductions may be required on weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the duration of the project.

The project is due to be completed in July.
