-- The Yonge Street Boardwalk project is a collaboration between Aurora and St. Andrew's College, with partial funding provided by the York Region through their Municipal Streetscape Partnership Program.

-- Aurora is currently collaborating with St. Andrew's College and the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Area to provide wet-meadow and floodplain tree and shrub species to help naturalize the areas on either side of the boardwalk.
-- Interpretive signage will be installed at seating/lookout areas in the future.
-- The boardwalk is expected to be open to the public at the end of this May.
