25,000 vaccines available to 35-plus, pregnant residents in York Region hot spots

Approximately 25,000 vaccination appointments will be available for booking to eligible residents in six hot-spot communities in Vaughan and Markham starting April 27.
According to the Region of York, residents that are 35 and older or pregnant can register for vaccine as part of Phase 2 of the provincial government’s COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Plan.
Residents can start booking at 8:30 a.m. if they live in areas of Vaughan identified as high-priority communities with L4H, L4L, L6A, L4K and L4J postal codes.
In Markham, residents in the postal code L3S are eligible.
Appointments for vaccines can be booked by visiting york.ca/COVID19Vaccine.
Appointments are required and proof or residence must be provided.
