Sobeys, No Frills, FreshCo, Farm Boy, Longo's latest with positive COVID-19 tests in York Region

Just 2 days after it was reported 12 grocery stores in region had positive cases, another 9 report positive cases

Grocery store employees in York Region continue to be pummelled by positive COVID-19 tests.

Just two days after it was reported that 12 grocery stores in the region had positive cases among employees, another 9 grocery stores reported positive cases.

In Thornhill, a Sobeys employee tested positive at the 9200 Bathurst St. location. The last day they worked was April 16. Two Sobeys employees also tested positive at the 441 Clark Ave. store in Thornhill. The last days they worked were April 15 and 16.

In Vaughan, a FreshCo employee tested positive at the 3737 Major Mackenzie Dr. location. The last day they worked was April 11.

An employee also tested positive at Vince and Franca's No Frills, located at 1631 Rutherford Rd., Vaughan. The last day they worked was April 19.

In King, two Shoppers Drug Mart employees tested positive at the 2140 King Rd. location. The last day they worked was April 14.

In Richmond Hill, a Farm Boy employee tested positive at the 12266 Yonge St. location. The last day they worked was April 16.

Further south on Yonge Street, a Longo's employee tested positive at the 10860 Yonge St. location. The last day they worked was April 10.

In Newmarket, a Farm Boy employee tested positive at the 18075 Yonge St. location. The last day they worked was April 16.

A Zehr's employee tested positive at the 24018 Woodbine Ave. location in Georgina. The last day they worked was April 15.
