Positive COVID tests for employees at 9 grocery stores in York Region as cases continue to spike
Longo's, Shoppers Drug Mart, Fortinos, No Frills, Food Basics, Freshco locations affected

The positive COVID-19 tests at grocery stores are coming fast and furious.
Just three days after it was reported that 11 grocery stores in the region had reported recent positive tests, another 9 have reported positive cases in the last three days.
Three Shoppers Drug Mart locations have been hit with positive tests in recent days.
An employee at the 2900 Steeles Ave. location in Thornhill tested positive. The last day they worked was April 1.
An employee at the 2920 Major Mackenzie Dr. location in Markham also tested positive. The last day they worked was March 31.
Further north, an employee at the 14729 Yonge St. location in Aurora tested positive. The last day they worked was March 31.
Staying in Aurora, three employees at the Longo's located at 650 Wellington St. have tested positive. The last days they worked are March 27 and April 3.
Three Fortinos employees also tested positive at the 2911 Major Mackenzie Dr. location in Vaughan. The last days the team members worked were April 1, 2 and 3.
A Fortinos employee at the 3940 Hwy. 7 location in Vaughan tested positive. The last day they worked was April 5.
Elsewhere in Vaughan, a Food Basics employee at the 9600 Islington Ave. location tested positive. The last day they worked was March 25.
An employee at Enzo's No Frills located at 9325 Yonge St., Richmond Hill, tested positive. The last day they worked was April 3.
A FreshCo employee in the store located at 1430 Major Mackenzie Dr., Richmond Hill, also tested positive. The last day they worked was April 6.
