Longo's, No Frills, Fortinos, McDonald's employees in York Region test positive for COVID-19

Positive COVID-19 tests among employees at grocery stores and restaurants across York Region continue as the region has entered the red zone.

An employee at Anthony's No Frills at 1054 Centre St., Vaughan, tested positive. The last day the employee worked was Feb. 22. It was the second employee to test positive at the store in recent days. An employee also tested positive last week. The last day they worked was Feb. 19.

It wasn't the only grocery store in Vaughan with a positive test. An employee at the Fortinos, located at 3940 Hwy. 7, also tested positive. The last day they worked was Feb. 20.

An employee at Dickie's No Frills, located at 17255 Leslie St., Newmarket, tested positive. The last day they worked was Feb. 17.

An employee at Longo's at 18319 Yonge St., East Gwillimbury, also tested positive. The last day they worked was Feb. 16.

That was wasn't the only Longo's employee to test positive. An employee at the store at 10860 Yonge St., Richmond Hill, tested positive. The last day they worked was Feb. 21st.

A McDonald's employee at the 300 Steeles Ave., Markham, store also tested positive. The last day they worked was Feb. 24.
