Metrolinx project to close Rutherford Road stretch March 26 to 29

Motorists and pedestrians are advised to seek alternate route along a stretch of Rutherford Road due to construction during the final weekend in March.

A Metrolinx-led project will close the roadway and walkways from Westburne Drive to Peter Rupert Avenue from March 26 at 7 p.m. until March 29 at 4 a.m.

Metrolinx advises there will be no GO train service during the same period.

The closure is for work related to the Rutherford Road Grade Separation project.

Crews will be working during the day and overnight for the duration of the closure.
