Richmond Hill sees positive COVID-19 cases at No Frills, FreshCo, Loblaws, Shoppers Drug Mart, LCBO, McDonalds

Popular Markham, Vaughan grocers also had positive tests

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases at grocery stores and other food vendors in York Region have come fast and furious in recent days, with employees at several stores in Richmond Hill testing positive for the virus.

An employee at FreshCo located at 1430 Major MacKenzie Dr. E. tested positive for COVID-19. The last day they worked was March 6.

Multiple team members tested positive for COVID-19 at Rob's No Frills, 13071 Yonge St. Unit 1-2. There were no dates given for the last shift the team members worked. But last week, three employees at Rob's No Frills tested positive. Those employees last worked on March 1, 3 and 4.

An employee at a Shoppers Drug Mart located at 1070 Major Mackenzie Dr. also tested positive; their last day of work was March 5.

The Loblaws located at 301 High Tech Rd. saw one employee test positive for COVID-19. That team member's last day worked was on March 6. 

There was also a positive test at the LCBO located on 8783 Yonge St. The last day the employee worked was March 4.

The last positive test in Richmond Hill was at the McDonald's located on 13233 Yonge St. The employee last worked on March 12.

OTHER COVID-19 CASES IN YORK REGION

Elsewhere in the region, three employees tested positive for COVID-19 at Fortinos located at 2911 Major Mackenzie Dr. in Vaughan. The last day the team members worked was on Feb. 28 for two, and March 1 for the third. 

An employee also tested positive at Loblaws located at 200 Bullock Dr. in Markham. The last day the team member worked was on March 9.
