1,000 additional vaccines available for York Region seniors aged 80+

An additional 1,000 appointments have opened up for the COVID-19 vaccine for York Region seniors aged 80 and over.

The appointments for the public health clinics at Richmond Green Sports Centre in Richmond Hill and Georgina Ice Palace can be booked online at york.ca/COVID19Vaccine, said York Region spokesperson Patrick Casey.

The bookings are for appointments on Thursday, March 11 and Friday, March 12.

Vaccines are available by appointment only for York Region residents born in 1941 or before -- please do not visit a clinic site without a scheduled appointment or you will be turned away.
