Looking forward to the long Family Day weekend but not sure how to keep your family entertained?
From Feb. 12 to 15, the town will celebrate the break with Aurora’s Arctic Adventure -- a four-day event with physically distanced and virtual activities for the entire family to enjoy.
Highlights include geocaching, ice sculpture installations at Town Park, livestreamed Zumba classes, paint nights, Wildlife Storytimes, magic and juggling training, and virtual comfort food cooking demonstrations.
All activities are free but some may require registration due to limited space, such as the virtual family Zumba classes; family, adult and couples paint sessions; virtual family games and the Speaking of Wildlife show.
Registration opens Feb. 5 at aurora.ca/arcticadventure.
Physically distanced outdoor adventures, such as geocaching, can be done on your own schedule.
Ice sculpture installations will be completed and on display in Town Park in the early afternoon of Feb. 13.
