Aurora seeking nominations for 2021 Community Recognition Awards

The town of Aurora is seeking nominations for the 2021 Community Recognition Awards.

The awards recognize volunteers and their significant impact on the community that inspires and motivates others.

To continue the town's commitment to recognizing the passionate efforts of those whole help make the community a better place, nominations are being sought for this year's awards.

These awards recognize the following categories:

• Volunteer Service Awards (20, 25, 30, 35, 40 years)

• Youth Volunteer Award

• Senior Volunteer Award

• Green Award

• Arts and Culture Award

• Community Leadership Award

• Good Neighbour Award

• Good Business Award

• Inclusivity Award

• Community Safety Award

• Citizen of the Year Award

 

Nomination forms can be downloaded at aurora.ca/cra and must be submitted by April 2.

All nominees will be contacted by the end of April. Winners will be recognized at Aurora’s Community

Recognition Awards ceremony on May 31.
