Employees at Longo's, FreshCo, Fortinos, McDonald's, LCBO in York Region test positive for COVID-19

As York Region gets set for lockdown restrictions to be lifted, several grocers and retailers in the region have had recent positive COVID-19 tests among employees.

Two employees at the Fortinos located at 3940 Hwy. 7, Vaughan, tested positive for COVID-19. The last days the team members worked were Feb. 10 and 12.  

It wasn't the only grocery store in Vaughan with a positive test. An employee at the FreshCo located at 3737 Major Mackenzie Dr., Woodbridge, tested positive. The last day they worked was Feb. 13.

Other stores where employees had positive tests in the region included the Longo's located at 18319 Yonge St., East Gwillimbury, and the Longo's located at 9306 Bathurst St., Thornhill. The last day they worked was Feb. 6.

An LCBO employee at 7850 Weston Rd., Vaughan, tested positive for COVID-19. The last shift they worked in store was on Feb.

There were also positive tests among employees at two McDonald's locations in York Region.

An employee at the restaurant located at 150 McNaughton Rd., Vaughan, tested positive. The last day they worked was Feb. 12. An employee at 9291 Hwy. 48, Markham also tested positive. The last day they worked was Feb. 14.
