More grocery store employees test positive for COVID-19, including at No Frills, FreshCo, Food Basics, Fortinos

As COVID-19 numbers reach record highs in Ontario, it is being reflected in the number of positive tests among grocery store employees.
Two employees at Rob's No Frills, 13071 Yonge St., Oak Ridges, tested positive on a presumptive test for COVID-19. The last days the team members worked were Dec. 24 and 29.
At least three employees at Fortinos at 8585 Hwy. 27, Vaughan, also tested positive on presumptive tests. There was no information posted on the last shifts they worked.
There were also positive tests among employees at two FreshCo stores. The employee at 3737 Major Mackenzie Dr., Vaughan, who tested positive last worked Dec. 29. Multiple employees at the Thornhill store, 800 Steeles Ave., tested positive, and their last shifts were Dec. 26 and 28.
An employee at Food Basics at 300 John St., Thornhill, who last worked Dec. 29, also tested positive.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that at least 22 Loblaws workers and 5 Longos locations in the region had positive tests.
