York Region Public Health declared an outbreak at the LCBO located at 8260 Hwy. 27, Woodbridge.

Four employees at the store tested positive for COVID-19 since late last month. The last days the employees worked at the store were Dec. 24, 27 and 29.

In a news release, the LCBO said as a cautionary measure, any customers who shopped at this location between Dec. 25 and 29 are recommended to self-monitor and seek testing should any symptoms present. Should the LCBO receive any additional direction or guidance from public health, it will act immediately and accordingly, the release said.

On its website, the LCBO said it follows the direction of public health officials to limit the effect COVID-19 may have on its people, partners, customers and communities.

Some of the enhanced COVID protocols put in place at stores include increased cleaning and sanitization at stores and warehouses, and managing traffic flow within stores to avoid crowding.
