Want to learn more about the new Vaughan hospital and Mackenzie Health's efforts to combat COVID-19?

Mackenzie Health will be hosting a telephone town hall with residents across Vaughan, King and Richmond Hill.

The event was originally scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 14, but has been postponed. The new date, which is likely to be in the coming week, will be announced shortly.

The open forum, will allow the community to hear updates about opening Cortelucci Vaughan Hospital and provide an opportunity for the public to ask questions of Dr. Danny Chen, the physician lead in infection prevention and control, about how the hospital is fighting COVID-19.

Residents with land lines in those three municipalities will receive an automatic call Thursday evening, alerting them to the opportunity, but those who don’t and want to join can register their phone number on Mackenzie Health’s website: MackenzieHealth.ca
