Multiple employees test positive for COVID-19 at 3 Fortinos locations in Vaughan

Shoppers Drug Mart in East Gwillimbury, Longo's in Woodbridge, McDonald's in Thornhill also had employees test positive

Three Fortinos locations in Vaughan have multiple employees who have tested positive for COVID-19 in recent days.

Three employees at the 3940 Hwy. 7 location tested positive. The last days they worked were Dec. 27, and Jan. 2 and 3.

Three team members at the 2911 Major Mackenzie Dr. W. location also tested positive. The last days they worked were Dec. 27,31 and Jan. 4.

Loblaws also posted Jan. 8 that multiple employees at the 8585 Hwy. 27 store tested positive. The number of employees and the last days they worked were not posted.

Other recent positive cases at retailers in York Region include an employee at Shoppers Drug Mart, 18293 Yonge St., East Gwillimbury. The last day they worked was Jan. 3.

An an employee at the Longo's located at 9200 Weston Rd., Woodbridge, tested positive. The last day they worked was Jan. 5.

Two employees at the McDonald's at 300 Steeles Ave. W., Thornhill also tested positive for COVID-19. The last days they worked were Jan. 2 and 3.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that at least 22 Loblaws workers and 5 Longos locations in the region had employees with positive tests.
