Drive-in Hanukkah Celebration -- Georgina
Dec. 13, 5 to 6 p.m.
Enjoy the festivities from the comfort of your car. Register for the free celebration featuring lighting of the giant Menorah and a special Hanukkah movie on a large inflatable screen. There will also be prepackaged doughnuts, latkes and hot drinks.
Drive-in Menorah Lighting -- Newmarket
Dec. 13, 5 p.m.
Drive in and celebrate with a giant menorah lighting ceremony and special Hanukkah swag bags. Meet the Dreidel Man and listen to festive Hanukkah favourites on a dedicated radio station from the comfort of your car.
Menorah Lighting Ceremony -- Aurora
Dec. 13, ceremonies held at 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
As space is limited, the Town of Aurora is hosting two menorah lighting ceremonies, featuring the lighting of the Menorah, traditional Hanukkah dishes and a fire juggling show.
Menorah Lighting Ceremony -- Vaughan
Dec. 10, 4:30 p.m.
Celebrate the first night of Hanukkah with a special virtual Menorah lighting ceremony hosted by the City of Vaughan together with Chabad Flamingo. The city encourages residents to celebrate at home and spend time in reflection.
Fire on Ice, Outdoor Hanukkah Celebration -- Thornhill
Dec. 13, 5:30 p.m.
The outdoor Hanukkah celebration features a live Menorah ice carving, followed by lighting of the candles. The free Fire on Ice celebration also includes live music, latkes, spicy apply cider and delicious doughnuts. Registration is required.
