If you are wondering why McDonald's in Stouffville was closed for a portion of the weekend, this is the answer.
An employee at the McDonald's location, 28 Sandiford Dr., tested positive for COVID-19. The last day they worked was Dec. 3.
McDonald's said on its website that a positive test results in restaurant closure for cleaning and sanitization.
This isn't the only McDonald's with a positive COVID test in the last week in York Region.
On Dec. 3, there was a positive test at the location at 6130 Hwy. 7, Vaughan.
On Dec. 2, there was a positive test at the location at 65 Dillane Dr., Schomberg.
On Nov. 29, there was a positive test at the location at 5225 Hwy. 7, Markham.
