The City of Richmond Hill is expected to remove a holding symbol to allow three proposed detached homes near the intersection of Yonge Street and 19th Avenue to go ahead.

JUST THE FACTS:

Who: Long Hill Developments 16 Inc. owns the lands.

Where: 16 Long Hill Drive, Richmond Hill

What: The applicant is seeking council’s approval to remove a holding symbol to allow for the construction of three detached homes on the 0.295-hectare lands.

Why: A holding provision was imposed on the lots along the extension of Escapade Drive in 2013 until municipal services are available to the vacant property. Escapade Drive and other municipal services are under construction.

What next: Council intends to pass the application at its regular meeting scheduled on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 9:30 a.m. Residents can participate in or view the meeting at RichmondHill.ca/CouncilMeetings.
