A Shoppers Drug Mart employee at the 9200 Dufferin St. location and one at the 9306 Bathurst St. location in Vaughan have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Loblaws, Shoppers' parent company, a team member tested positive on a presumptive test at the Bathurst Street location. The last day the team member worked was Nov. 29.
The last day the team member worked at the Dufferin Street location was Nov. 28
According to the Loblaws COVID-19 policy, the company is prepared for all possible situations, including a positive test for COVID-19 in its stores.
In these cases, the store works closely with public health and follows its guidance to ensure proper notification of close contacts and required cleaning and sanitization of the store.
