Aurora’s Christmas Market boasts 6 'magical' nights at Town Park
Town also offering a virtual market for residents unable to attend in person

Here’s a great way to get into the holiday spirit.
Celebrate the magic of the season by visiting Aurora’s Christmas Market.
It will span over six “magical” nights and will feature 13 new vendors, the town said in a statement.
The market is free to attend and will be filled with thousands of lights, festive decorations and exciting activities, such as buskers, seasonal vendors and more.
A virtual market, workshops and activities will also be available for those who cannot attend in person.
Festive vendors, artisans and chefs from across York Region will showcase holiday decor, ornaments, toys, apparel, jewelry, baked goods and artwork.
All applicable COVID-19 protocols, including face masks and physical distancing, will be in place.
Pre-registration is required.
The event runs Dec. 4 to 6 and from Dec. 11 to 13 from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at the Aurora Town Park at 49 Wells St.
The virtual holiday market, workshops and activities are available at aurora.ca/christmasmarket from Dec. 4 to 11.
The event is sponsored by Healthy Planet and additional funding is provided by the provincial government.
Aurora’s Christmas Market was designated by Festivals and Events Ontario in 2020 as one of the top 100 festivals and events in Ontario. Aurora was designated as the Municipality of the Year by Festivals and Events Ontario in 2020.
