A temporary weekend closure will be taking place on Highway 27 between Rutherford Road and Martin Grove Road in the City of Vaughan.
This work is required to continue improvements taking place on Highway 27 and the Canadian Pacific Rail Bridge.
Here are the facts:
- The temporary weekend closure is required on Highway 27 between Rutherford Road and Martin Grove Road on Friday, Dec. 4 at 9 p.m. until Monday, Dec. 7 at 5 a.m.
- To allow for preparation at the work site, one southbound lane on Highway 27 between Royalpark Way and Martin Grove Road will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4
- Local access will be maintained onto Royalpark Way and other properties within the closed section
- Additional weekend closures will also be required throughout the construction period to facilitate work. York Region will provide advance notice prior to each closure.
