Do you have a burning question about the Town of Newmarket's 2021 budget that you want answered? Is there one particular part of the budget that will impact you and your family that you need clarified?

Well, you have a chance to ask your question on Thursday evening.

The Town of Newmarket is hosting a budget Q&A that will live streamed on the municipality's Facebook page starting at 7 p.m. on Nov. 5.

After a short presentation at the start of the meeting, Mayor John Taylor, treasurer Mike Mayes and senior town staff will be available to answer questions from residents.

This public engagement session is one step in the budgeting process the council has been following since Mid-October. If everything goes as planned, Newmarket's 2021 budget will be approved by Dec. 14.
