Aurora residents, it's time to release your inner decorator for Deck the Halls Tour

Community will be able to look at decorated homes and storefronts in their cars

Aurora is calling on residents to release their inner decorator, hone in on their holiday spirit, untangle those lights and get ready to start decorating.

The town is now accepting applications for the Deck the Halls Tour.

Residents can participate by decorating their homes, apartments or storefronts with holiday cheer.

Get the family together, challenge your neighbours to participate in a friendly street competition and transform your home into a winter wonderland.

To participate, you are asked to register online at aurora.ca/deckthehalls by Nov. 27.

The tour will provide the community with an opportunity to the view decorated homes from the comfort and warmth of your own vehicles while following a tour map and voting on their favourite homes.

A top prize will be awarded for best decorated and honourable mentions for other winners.

The tour will run Dec. 12 to 19.
