The skyline of Stouffville Road could be changing.

Topfar development is seeking approval to amend the town’s official plan and zoning bylaw to facilitate the development of an 18-storey mixed-use building.

JUST THE FACTS

• Topfar is proposing a building consisting of 309 residential units and retail on the ground floor, fronting Main Street.

• A virtual public meeting on the project is being held Nov. 17.

• The proposed official plan amendment would increase the maximum number of storeys from 10 to 18 and the maximum number of units per hectare from 120 to 300.
• The proposed zoning bylaw amendment would increase number of units per hectare from 65 to 300.
