Mayor Dave Barrow

Like most things this year, Thanksgiving might feel different. What hasn’t changed is the importance of taking time to reflect on the good things in our lives. Personally, I am thankful for my family, my health and the wonderful community in which we live.

The residents and businesses of Richmond Hill stepped up this year to help stop the spread of COVID-19. As we see the numbers rising, I must ask you once again to continue doing your part to reduce the impact of this terrible virus:

I know the longer this pandemic goes on, the harder it is to stick to these rules -- especially during holidays where we want to be close to family and friends. Please know that your actions make a difference and can save lives. Richmond Hill has proven how strong we can be when we all work together -- and together, we will get through this next wave.

Thank you to everyone for helping take care of our community.

I wish you all a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
