Getting around Ninth Line on October weekends in Stouffville could be more challenging then usual.

The Region is closing the intersection of Ninth Line and Hare Farm Gate on weekends between Oct. 2 and Oct. 21.

JUST THE FACTS:

• The intersection is closed to conduct work on rehabilitating the sanitary sewer from Hoover Park Drive to Reeves Way Boulevard.

• Motorists are advised to use the detour route along Northway Avenue to Reeves Boulevard for access to Ninth Line.

• Ninth Line, Hoover Park Drive and Reeves Way Boulevard will remain open to traffic, with periodic lane restrictions.

• York Region Transit service along Ninth Line will continue throughout the rehabilitation work.
