If you're out for a stroll in the Vaughan area, you're going to want to stay on high alert.

Pheasant Hollow Park near Toronto has been the location of three separate coyote attacks in the past three days, says the City.

Everyone bitten is in non-life-threatening condition and is recovering at home after getting their rabies vaccines.

The attacks took place between Thursday, October 15, and Saturday, October 17.

There have also been sightings in Agostino Park in Vaughan.

If you encounter a coyote, the City of Vaughan says you should shout loudly, wave your arms high in the air, and back away slowly while remaining calm.

Never turn your back or run away during an encounter.

It is imperative to stay far away from coyotes and other wildlife, the City says, to avoid contracting rabies, which can be fatal.
